Haven't watched Claymore yet but have been reading the manga... if you liked Claymore then you'd probably like Berserk.

I agree, Claymore kicked some major @$$! I do hope they continue it in a new season. This was one of the few anime where a couldnt wait for the dubs of it and went to the subs to see what happens next.

the anime follows the manga pretty much exactly until the last couple episodes, as if they changed it so there won't be a sequel,

if you enjoyed the anime i recommend you read the manga, the story continues a lot further and the plot develops really well with a few twists ^^

At first i liked them until people started walking past them ( not just running witch does happen )but walking i once sat and watch someone walk right past my claymore this is how it went first i heard the CLICK then ( this is not a lie ) 20 seconds later BANG this is not right it should as soon as someone walks into it all i should see is the points on my screen
not someone walking past it yet IW fix things like the model 1887 and they din't bother me at all the range was a bit too much but still i find it more annoying about claymore's
anyway i just wanted to see if anyone else gets annoyed at this

Claymore is truly a great anime. On my top 5 list no doubt. I think the fight scenes are great and the story really hits home. In most fighting animes I think that the story suffers at times because of the need for action, but Claymore is one of the few anime that I truly do not feel that is the case.

Just finished this to a couple of days ago. I was amazed how immune you actually was to the series gore/brutal fighting. But you are all right, it was an amazing series. I really hope there will be a sequel!

In the future i'm gonna see berserk! But that's after i've seen Bleach :original:

I just started on Claymore and so far the art and story to this anime have been superb, I really like the dark overtones to the animation, it helps to create a moody atmosphere and it works for this series. I'm only a few episodes into the show so I don't have a whole lot to say about it yet, but Claire is a fantastic female lead and her protection of the boy so far has been enjoyable to watch, I may even pick up the manga if I keep enjoying this series so much.

I love being an anime fan, there is just so much out there to consume, but yet so little time to consume it all.....

The only scene I really have felt didn't make any sense and made me feel cheesy was when Clair felt like she was becoming a Yoma (sp?) and then stopped in mid-transition when she was being hugged by Raki (sp?) in episode #4, other than that the series has been damn near perfect so far. That one scene was just a bit much, but maybe thats just me and my strange ways.....:paperbag:

cuz they altered the last few eps to give the animea conclusion.....there most definatly wont be another season..or atleast if there is it wont follow the manga or wont follow the first season cuz clair has litterally only just met precilla again in the manga...and theres LOADS of stuff inbetween ...also shes like the strongest claymore in her group without using her yoki

The music in this series is really growing on me, especially the song that usually plays when something epic is happening or about to happen, it's the one that sounds heavily synthed with some light chants in the background. You hear it for the first time in the first episode when the guy in the small town says he expected Claymores to be more like monsters....

Anyhow, I really am loving the action scenes, the fight with the 4 Claymore's and the male awakened being was awesome and I cannot wait to see what's up with that guy in the green wrappings who is spying on the girls from a distance. Such drama! I may pick up on the manga when I'm done with the anime, it seems like there is a lot more story to Claymore that has not been captured within the anime and I don't want to miss out on anything.

hence why i read online :D! tho i rly should support the series buy buying the manga but im currently buyin air gears manga to make up for all i read so far and being a student i aint exactly rich.
claymores manga only out evry month so...the volumes r slow 2 come out compaired to the likes of negima , air gear and bleach
BUT if you liked the anime its a DEFINATE must read

yea claymore was pretty good alot of action, but who ever didnt see Baccano u should deffenety watch its reall interesting its like alot of stories combind into 1 its pretty gud got to watch

once finish watching it didnt want it to end, wish there was another season coming for it.

its a shame they changed the end of the last few eps to conculde the story on the anime...that means they cant possibly follow the mangas storyline which is completly EPIC

Claymore was damn good, I really love how Clare at first came off as a stone cold killer who's only goal in life was to kill those things, I forget their names, but as the series progressed she really came out of her shell and showed she has a caring and somewhat touching human side.

I loved her backstory with Teresa, that really molder Clare's character in my eyes, she still remains as one of my favorite female lead's in any anime and it may be a long time until someone dethrones her.
