Signature of the Week 1

Regulations/Guidelines:
-The signature cannot be larger than 200 pixels in height by 500 pixels in width.
-You must have made the signature yourself. No stealing someone else's design.
-You may only submit 1 signature
-You cannot use any inappropriate content in the graphic.
-You must submit the signature before the entry due date. Any later entries will not be accepted.
-You may change your entry as much as you would like before the due date.
-The entry must be related to the theme in some way
-We will not be awarding shurikens for winners of the SOTW. Winners will only have their signatures posted in a designated section.
-The winner of the SOTW will be the one to choose the theme of the next SOTW

Ok, so we will play the first round by ear. The first theme is:Anime. This is so the first round is pretty clear, no real problems with the theme. Ok, so I think that entries should be due sunday at midnight (aka Friday 11:59PM not Thursday). Based upon the number of contestants we will decide between a poll and just posting your vote. Ok so I request that people only post here if they have their sig or if they do post here that they just edit their post to include the sig when they are finished. Good luck and have fun.

Oh and Kusanagi, yea, a SOTW should start on mondays and end n Friday, and polls should start when Sotw ends and end on Sunday

Well, most people probably have free time on Saturdays and Sundays, so it'll work to vote during those periods.

can we keep this to strictly posting your SIG only, no comments and other stuff like: "thiw will be cool i will join", it starts adding to post count, then al of a sudden we have alot of pages just full of text that actul Siggs

i was looking through a bunch of anime renders someone had posted on another forum and that render i used was one of them. i just liked it so i chose it.. its not like i really knew it wasnt an anime.

lol same i don't like the poll system and i like to see who voted for who and why. it also gives us feedback on our work instead of having anonymous voters.

Well your going to have to talk to Shogan about it, but at the moment it stands with both a poll and posting on who you vote for, discussing it amongst yourselfs isnt going to get you very far.

Yeah I was about to say that. But you have legitimate concerns. Granted, I can see ips, but I do not know if the rest of you can. So if people are cheating then it is less effective. But at the same time you could just make the visible votes poll, but of course then people will not post as much C&C, but on the other hand then it will get too long. Oh and another thing I forgot. It looks like more than 10 so I will probably go with the long route. I did not put what time zone lol. So it will be EST. Meaning 11:00 PM here where I live.

You know, that's specifically not an anime either xD. Though there is a Ragnarok Online anime, I don't think that's a picture from it, and it is more of a picture made for loading screens or wallpapers or something.

Thank you for clearing that up. If it is animeesque that will probably get in. Safko is accepted in my eyes because they are either making it or it looks like an anime. lol I tried to make it general to avoid this situation.........

I think the poll would work best. There are those who don't have any gfx experience nor a legitimate C&C they can give but they want to vote. There might be users that simply want to vote for whichever sig that looks best to them or more appealing to their eyes.
