Amoung the production staff are names which present good prospects likely to satisfy fans including :
scriptwriter Akatsuki Yamatoya (Gintama), character designer Yoshiyuki Ito, production designer Shinji Aramaki (Appleseed), and the BONES studio animators (Cowboy Bebop). Japanese pop artists T.M. Revolution (Gundam Seed), Tommy heavenly6 (Gintama), and others sing the theme songs. Before directing Soul Eater, Igarashi oversaw Ashita no Nadja, Ojamajo Doremi, Ouran High School Host Club, and Sailor Moon Sailor Stars.
Funimation tells that Soul Eater will run for 51 episodes, ending in the spring this 2010. They will release the anime in four half-season sets beginning in late 2009.
Series Synopsis:
The story begins at the Shinigami Weapons Specialist Vocational School, a university run by Death himself for living weapons and their human partners. One of the student weapons specialists, the human Maka Alban, is paired with Soul Eater, a boyish figure whose true form is a scythe. Maka, Soul, and the rest of their class learn how to collect souls while plying their arts against the witches, werewolves, and zombies of the world.

That fighting sequence was beast. But i never really thought the boy should have that type of voice. I thought of him having more of a kid voice...

Adult Swim needs to pick this up after Moribito.
If they don't....
It'll just prove what's been the OBVIOUS truth for quite awhile now.
Adult Swim are ANIME HATERS.

I think they dislike it, not hate. More like the animu is a burden, and they're starting to regret their decision.
They had a bump, where they said they like their anime a night a week.
And when they asked for movies to play, almost immediately they said "ANIME FANS SHUT THE HELL UP."
Though they had a reason, they say "We played your movies and about NONE of you watched them."
EDIT: Frack yes Soul Eater dub. 8D

As a subbed/raw anime fan, the DUB is pretty good I have to say. It's a shame soul eater doesn't follow through with the manga like the first FMA. Hopefully it'll get big like FMA and they'll remake it following the manga.

I do agree...
They're kind of... retarded, though. They probably won't air it.

i don't blame Adult Swim
i blame the sub/dub debate
Adult Swim gets some of the most kickass anime titles
but since a majority of fans like subs and watched have the series long before it was licensed
they're not watching it on Adult Swim
so, anime gets extremely low ratings. it seems like the only reason they still show it is because they always have and for the few fans that stuck with it
to be honest, I don't even watch AS anymore. Bleach is about as satisfying as Inuyasha was.

Is the manga as good/better than the anime?
I asked the owner of a manga store to save it for me >>

You do realize that it's a MONDAY right?
People have to go to bed to get up for college, school, work, etc.

Not unless you have a provider whos times come earlier. Like my provider showed the premier of Naruto Shippudden at 5:00 p.m. not 8:00 p.m. Also, If you have the things, you can record the shows when you're not home to watch it. Like I do with my anime.
